In December, the Friends of St Catherine’s School set up a fun Father Christmas trail which was open to the whole of Ware.
We asked families to create a Father Christmas scene outside their homes to bring a little extra Christmas cheer in these crazy times.
Laura Adams helped organise this event and with her help and the amazing efforts of 19 families we raised £528. Thank you to all those that took part.
As a special treat, we also arranged for some very special elves to visit each house and wave the Father Christmases. Thank you to Gracie Adams and Megan Morris for getting dressed up and braving the cold wet weather (and the trailer) and bringing a little extra fun to the town. Thanks also to James Dorman (DJ JD) for towing them around with lights and music too. It was a perfect antidote to a grey December day.
